My favorite color. My dining room and one living room wall are painted this color. I coordinate with a nice olive green. Laurel

Dear Lorrie Fenn,

Reading about 'Studio time' reminds me of my new apartment. I have got a similar room for my art / craft / computer / sew work. Too much furniture will use up space and too little will not be adequate. Think through which pieces will be really useful and buy them. or better still design and get them made. A wall to wall shelving or cabinets (to store the materials) on at least one wall will be necessary for all those creative hobbies of yours.

Fantastic blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers? I'm planning to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Wow - this post just blew me away. I was especially moved by your statement about not regretting previous work as that's what it took to get to where you are today. There's a theory that one needs to spend I think it's 10,000 hours on something before mastering it. There are so many creative things I gave up on but making jewelry is not one of them and it is really begining to show - maybe not financially but I feel I have really stepped up my game artistically.
