This is an idea I dreamed up back in December. I wanted to find the perfect shades of vintage glass glitter along with antiqued brass pendants. I call this the “you are…” series because the words enlightened, significant and blessed resonate with me. They are little reminders that we are all of these things everyday. I created this piece during my metal smithing class from bits and pieces of an illustration. I’ve got another one in the works using more copper and less silver (making is much more cost effective.) The first new item is this beautiful locket necklace: For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a special fondness for locket necklaces. They seem to be holders or secrets, memories, love and mystery. This locket has so much intricate detail and is perfect for daily wear.
