pumpkin roll recipe love

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I've been on a baking kick lately. This past week I've made a key lime cheesecake, pumpkin roll, and pumpkin oatmeal cookies. Everything is sugary and good, but I had to freeze half of what I made to not go into a sugar coma. Our freezer is going to turn into a bakery if I keep it up. I've been obsessed with www.cooks.com. I don't know where all of this Martha Stewartesqe living is coming from. I'm even planning and looking forward to decorating for the holidays. I've been working on my holiday card design. This is my card design from last year: Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I printed it out on sticker paper and placed it on recycled paper and put gold glitter around the edges. A lot of people told me the glitter went everywhere when they opened it. Sorry about that. If you want to be on my card list for this year, email me
I feel like my blog entries have been a little slow lately and it’s due mostly to my nine hour a day temp job. I'm very grateful to the job and the money right now, and part of me would like for it to be permanent. The other part of me continues to push forward to get out of the work week wheel. I have a list of things to post about today so keep checking back. I’m trying to get organized in some manner this weekend, so that I can utilize my time in a more creative way after work.

i dont' know where the domesticity comes from either, but all of a sudden, it just appears. it's strange. i love baking but i never do it because marques doesn't eat it. if i make a big pot of melted cheese, though, he's all over that. it's really weird how you become super domestic. i think it's a byproduct of taking care of someone and settling in your apartment. weird.

oh, i want a card!

glitter might have made a mess but that card is lovely and i'm sure the glitter looked good. you can try using modge podge or another decoupage base to seal the glitter. pearl paint has it. : )
