I wish I was an interior designer

This is what I have in mind for the kitchen. As you can see it needs a little help. I like the idea of red and turquoise together and bright colors with a hispanic theme. The fabric is from repro depot, I want to make curtains out of one of these fabrics, but I can't decide on one.

ummm i think the one of the right would give you most of the color scheme you want b/c it has red and blue but i like the one on the left better because of the pink and its not as heavy as the one on the right. by heavy i mean dark with big flowers. and the one on the left and middle had minimal colors which would allow you to add more colors like turquoise!:) just a thought.

the one in the middle would go really well the platter! and the colors in the right one would go well also. i think that because the floor color is so "heavy" you might want to keep everything light so that kitchen can seem larger and more open. just a thought!

this is a little late, but i like the middle one! it's very retro looking and it seems to be more graphic than floral. so you could get away with using more floral patterns in other places, like the tray. i hope that makes sense! i can't wait to see what you decide to do! <3 tina =]

you might want to peek under that linouleum in the kitchen since it is loose and see whats under there. you might be able to take it up and get some vinyl floor tiles pretty cheap to put down. believe it or not I found some at family dollar for $10.00 that looked pretty durable to cover 12/12 room...I liked the fabric on the far right...now where did you get the tray from?
